no spark problem 91 SI with ZC swap

hey guys we put a zc in my friends 91 SI and we're having a spark problem.

we converted the distributor connector and added the 2 wires from the second cam angle sensor, its all hooked up right but we're not getting any spark....

other than the distributor just being bad... any ideas ?

the distributor being bad is very possible, honda distributors suck, gone through a bunch of them. is it the distributor that came with the motor and ecu? the honda ecu's gotta match up with the distributor.

I jus finished doing my ZC sawp into my Crx HF the problem with the no spark is cause you need to buy the conversion kit from Hasport.com they sell the wiring for $40 and then $10 for shipping. I had the same problem until i got the wires. If you dont have that conversion then your car wont start or get spark. :cool:

Hey I don't know if you saw my posting's that I have previously put up, but my car too won't start and thier is no spark at all. Some of the guys at clubhonda.com, respectively have given me some advice about either being my fuel pump or fuel lines...If you can please read my forums which are ZC INTO CRX and MORE ZC HELP and ENGINE WON'T START in the performance section....

P.S. what is it that you bought at hasport...would it work for the SOHC ZC or just for the DOHC ZC...Because I have seen that product before on hasport.com
