hey, my cousins freand just finshed droping one of thease in his 88 crx. hes only 17 too, did it in his autotech class at school. im dying to see this car(he still has some minor thing to do to it before its road worthy) it sounds cool. although being a domestic guy i dont know a hell of a lot about this engine, anyone care to enlighten me? :confused: im kinda curious as to what it is cuz ive never herd of it before...id also be nice to know somthing about it when i do finally get to see it. thanks guys :D

what your cosuins friend put in his CRX is an 92-95 civi Ex engine in it. It has 127Hp and i think 115tq. It came in the EX model civics and the Si model hatchbacks.

Problably not going to be OH MY GOD fast, but still a better kick than the original CRX motors. Problably still fun to drive to, and at least he did a SWAP..right??

yeah true, i dunno ill have to see this thing before i make any judgments on it....i give him kodus for doing a swap though...thats not the easiest thing for a 17 year old kid working for minimun wage to do....

I agree....at least he didn't get the glowing valve stem caps, and say look at me I am Vin Diesel! He can only do that if he throws on the Powered by "GT-R" emblem on the back of the CRX, and hangs out with Brian Earl Spilner! LoL
