leather interior

ok, iv made the decision to get leather interior. i HATE cloth (sounding the least like a snob as possible). so i looked on the net for kits and found, quite conveniently, letherseats.com. i emailed them and asked for a quote on a two-tone 1/2 perforated kit. 714 + shipping which includes a free embroidery (not sure on that yet). well the "theme" of the look of the car was gonna be white/blue but i dont waant white leather so i was gonna get one of the following combos. the diagram of the seats is below and, since i formatted my comp and forgot my website i cant post it w/ the colors but ull get the point.

one of the two. im really like the grey/blue b/c im gonna have blue indiglo stuff inside and out. after the seats i wud obviously paint the dash and other areas of the car to match. so post ur opinions.

btw, for the embroidery which goes on the headrest. if i got the lt grey/pacific blue i think id want to put a quicksilver-ish wave on there in an oval surrounding oval shape. i have the picture in my head and it looks cool. i wud get initials but if i ever need to sell the car it wud be a downfall.

blue/grey i would get. When i got my interior done i was going to get black/grey but then it wouldnt stick out that much so i decided to get the red/black combo. I think the grey/blue will stick out way better

white :rolleyes: but im gonna make the whole interior blue/grey (if thats the popular vote) including the dash area, console, doors etc. dont kno how im gonna do the ceiling. i mean its kinda greyish already, but i dunno.

i dont understand whats so great about leather? not really worth it IMO.hot in the summer, cold and nutz in the winter. ive never liked leather seats..cloth is just more comfortable to me...but hey to each his own, if you really think its worth droping 700 bucks on then go for it, its your money. just thought id add my .002 :p

well i dont have to worry about it getting cold 'in the winter seeing as it gets down to a "freezing" 50 degrees in south fla. but it does get hot...ill cope. i think its 200 times better than cloth. i mean when u have cloth and u wanna readjust urself u have to do all that jumping up and down in ur seat so ur comfortable. we dont do that here. in leather u just slide freely and it feels better. and theres my two cents...not my fifth of a cent (.002) haha

well hey thats cool man, like i said its your money, i mean dont get me wrong i love leather, ive just never found it to be all that comfortable in cars. oh and hey i like that color combo, sounds very interesting. and yeah i do agree you dont want white seats. white=dirty :p good luck man ;)

Blue n Grey sounds nice, my interior is custom leather white and yellow, it doesn't really match my exterior, but i like it.

yup dash is wrapped in white leather, the only thing that isnt leather is the center piece (where the shifter, e-brake, etc are) I bought the car like that, it should cost anywhere around 1200-1600 easy.
