What's up everyone? I have a 2002 coupe and I'm thinking about getting some projectors.

The questions I have are Who makes the best projectors, What color bulb and housing should I get (my car is black), Should I go with angel eyes, And does the cold weather hurt them.

I did a search and couldn't find much. Any help at all would be cool.

I know Denji makes some good projectors... As far as bulbs go i would go with the hyperwhite bulbs with the black housing. As for angel eyes i havent seen them on an accord but im sure they look tight. I dont see why the cold weather would hurt them anymore than your stock headlights.

I have denji projectors on my 97 accord. My accord is black and so are the housings on the lights so It looks pretty sweet. I also put on some black corners. I like them, but remember to adjust them before you but the bumper back on, assuming you have to take it off like most accords.

To my knowledge... nothing can stop The Grimace

I would get those super yellow bulbs for projectors. They shine so bright with them, almost as bright as HID but with a amber yellow light. You can check them out at Hyper-Shift.com (http://www.hyper-shift.com) or email me at jameschu291@hotmail.com if you're interested

My friend had projectors on his 6 generation accord, but he got pulled over cuz they were too dim...so he sold them and switched to regular black housing headlights. Dunt know if u want to waste the money and get poor quality.

Well I bought a used set, there definately not as bright as my stock ones and they fit like ****, but they look great so I'm happy. I Probably wouldn't buy new ones but if you get a good deal I think there worth it.

I agree, there was a guy on pooperhonda that posted some pics, very nice indeed.

I used to have the Denji 3 beams, as did two other buds with a 95 & 97 respectively, all of us experienced at least on of the projector lenses cracking within the first year. It doesn't seem to make any diff in light pattern or output (which is very poor in the first place) but it is cracked and though its hard to see, it still sucks. My Denjis were taken out by an idiot in a ford truck as were my buddys on his 95.

I will say this about the Denjis as well as the Angel fire type from TYC (pretty good overall mfr actually) the primary "low beam" (the projector on both these examples) is an H3, the light output is terrible. Its just that simple. Yes they do look very cool, but unless you have fog/drivers, you'll be using the "brights" constantly. The brights on the Denjis are also H3s, they are H1s on the TYCs that have the single projector and single reflector. Still, not a lot of light.

Here's the rub, if you are willing to spend the cheddar, go ahaed and get the TYCs, but also get an H3 HID kit, yes they do exist, and they all come with a removable shroud. But when all is said and done you'll be looking at easily about $200 for the TYCs and another $400-$600 on the HID kit. Course, maybe cash ain't the issue, in which case I say knock yerself out, I bet it would look bad ass!

Ima get the JDM knock offs or TYCs w/ black corners (back to stock right now) to match black housing S-type rears, just don't know which yet, they're both cheap.....
