hey guys, anyone knows how to smoke the tail lights ? im getting the new accord coupe and im thinking of getting the tail lights smoked. thansk a lot

true, I did that on my '91 accord. I only smoked the amber turn signals so they ended up looking like VR6 style taillights :cool:

the way I would suggest it to remove them from the car, clean them with soapy water and let them dry real good. test the "smoke" paint on something else first to see how heavy it sprays (you want smoked, not black :) ). if you're only gonna spray a section, make off what you don't want to spray. go ahead and spray, but keep a little distance so it doesn't go on too heavy too fast or you'll drip or spray too much.

do a couple little coats and let it dry and you'll be fine :cool:

so you just go to an automotive store and buy smoke paint, or where do you get that stuff 'cause I really wanna get rid of my altezzas but I don't like the amber color of my turnsignal on the factory lights

Go to Wal-Mart or a hobby store, get Testors black transparent model paint in the little spray cans. It goes on almost clear but darkens with every coat. And, if you dont like it, it will come off with plain rubbing alcohol. If you do like it, spray a couple of coats of clear to prevent chipping. <img src="http://www.clubhonda.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif" alt="Smile" width="15" height="15"><!--graemlin::)-->
