Hey all, I bought a 89 Accord LX and want to start fixing it up. I don't want to sell the car and start with something else cause It's in perfect condition. Can you give me some thing I can do with a 89 accord lx 4-door? I have looked and just can't find much for it. I feel like i'm driving a family car all the time! ICK! Help me out guys, what can I do?

You guys all have Accords and love them.... I like my accord, but want it to fit me. Should I just sell it? And buy like a CRX or something? Should I look for a newer accord? Like a 92-95? Give me some input here. I don't want to drive soemthing that people would classify as a family car! What shoul i do? Sell or upgrade?

There is a whole community of 3rd Gen Accords (86-89) www.3geez.com (http://www.3geez.com) try them out. They'll help tremdeously.

Wow nice! That looks really cool! Thanks for the hope! lol

I have a maroon interior! Do you think a black exterior paint job would match ok? Also how much would a black repaint be? Not Maco, one that will last... a good job...

If you cant afford to upgrade to a newer accord, keep it and make the best of what you have. Thats my opinion.

I use to own a carb. 87 accord and if your into speed id say get the B20A5 which is the older model 88-91 Prelude, FI, DOHC, 16 Valve. I can't really recall how much ponies it has but hey, it beats having a sohc. Good luck on it.

B series motor swap and after that, your options are endless. Oh and I would look to spend at least $2,000 for a decent paint job.
