Yeah swap!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! definetly. GO big and then go turbo. Actually an engine swap might save you some money depending on what you get

ummm....why would you waste money trying to do this? just run the car till it dies and buy something made in the last 20years ;) :p

Dont listen to them. Your doing this for yourself, not anyone else. This is your goal, stay on it. I too have a relativly old Accord (87), I also get the same **** "Dont waste your money". I dont have the money to buy a newer car. Dosent make sence to sell something that is working in great condition. And my car isnt worth anything in the market with 265,000 miles. Just reliability from Honda engineering.

P.S.: Even if you wanted to do a swap, like a B16 or H22, your going to have to convert to F.I. anyhow.

I love the advice and input, but my origonal question is still posed! How do I transfer carb. to fuel inj.? Computers, vaccum hoses, bolts, any info is a step in the right direction.

i really dont know i would ask a mechanic in your area that can help you further. I may speak for many but most of us here are more familiar with newer fuel injected cars, so i would suggest asking a local mechanic.

to do this, and make it work.... it will be cheaper to just swap a H22 in it and make your car ****ing fly....trust me...it will be cheaper in the long run...

Right now I am in the process of building a 2+4 and plywood garage to work on it through the wither. I am looking at it's completion in January (i take my time with these.)

So far I have done:

Remove all interior inc.
Front and rear seats
Carpet
Dashboard
ALL panel pieces from doors to trunk

I am replacing all them with a black interior. I am getting new low-pile black carpet for the cab and trunk. I have painted (yes, painted) the plastic pieces of the int. (dash, paneling, etc.) matte black to match. I don't know what I going to get for an engine, though. With any extra money left over, I am going to paint the ext. mid-gloss black. I've got these sick taillight covers. Once my camera is up and running, I will get some pics in the member rides section. This car will push maybe 200 hp when I'm done. I don't have too much $$$$$.
