ey guys...im here from hondaaccord.com...not too much activity over there lately. i need some opinions. im definitely hooking up my white 95 lx coupe...exterior anyway. no sense in hooking up my 4cyl engine. im getting a kit, wheels, indiglo stuff (emblems, pedals, gauges, squirters, etc.) and a new paint job. first off...im almost set on a ViS Kombat it...i love it, but whats ur opinion? i mean, ya the BW kit is nice and all, but there are SO MANY. anyway, which is ur favorite kit for my model/yr? second, im also almost set on silver 5zigen fireball 17s wrapped in toyos. im getting SUCH a deal (or so i think from all the researching im doing) of 1290 for the set wrapped and installed. good? no good? tell me if im missing a super cheap place online. the indiglo stuff im set on...i have tirfelys that wont go on until i get my rims and the im getting the emblem for the back, maybe a blue one for the front, then the gauges and pedals. also...about the interior. i wanna theme my car white and blue (if u havent caught that already ;)), but i cant find a good place for my interior and im thinking a custom blue/white leather job will set me back $2k(?). iv been told painting the dash is not a problem (sand, prime, sand, paint, sand, clear coat, sand) and if thats all it is, my dad can easily help me out w/ that. any place that wants to sponsor me, ill VOLUNTEER! haha...but im just lookin for the best deals...hit me up at geeneeyus@aol.com (geeneeyus being my aim name also) if u can hook me up...any suggestions for changes welcome and i hope u guys have stuff to say

first off...ur right, my 86k mile 4 cylinder wont get me anywhere...gotta love that 0-60 in 9.something secs, right? come on now...be realistic...i cud hav my car look sweet rather than use all the money to super or turbo charge it and still lose...anyway, we dont have too many 1/4 tracks arond here (none that i kno of) and the best straightaway for it wud be in parkland where there are cops crawling all over the place...and theyre mean biatches too. im not gonna race for big money (if i did at all) and theres no way ill get below the low 14's high 13's at BEST, unless i do a $5k h22a swap, which im not interested in.
unless u can show me what i can do to my lx to give it a chance to compete w/ reason against my friends z28, i dont care about the engine

Just a little FYI, with a turbo you would be able to run up to 10 psi daily with stock internals that would be good for over 200 h.p. to the wheels. That is what i ment when i said you have no appreciation for the engine in your car, anyway it doesn't matter it's your money.

your entitled to do what you want with your money and if you wanna make it look good only than that is cool, but with my turbo me and candyman g-teched it at 6-7psi we got 200hp to the wheels. And i know g tech is not completely accurate but 200hp to the wheels isnt bad. Then i added the fuel pump bumped the boost to 9psi and added exhaust so i know it was at least 220hp. SO thats good power for an accord. But thats just my 2 cents.. ;)

You can always swap in the h22 or h23 later! As for the other mods, there is a long list for that car. I got whatever you need, and can give a great deal. Whether it is looks or speed, as long as you like what you got, then keep on doing it. Eventually you will problably end up doing it ALL anyway! Just have FUN!

VI...im looking for a ViS Racing Combat Kit (if its not ViS, i dont want it), blue/green indiglo gauges, indiglo blue emblems, blue indiglo pedals, a blue caliper paint kit, a bomb muffler (or something comparable w/ a 4" round angle cut w/ a nice sound, not too loud, not too annoying, maybe a silencer cap included)...got an estimate w/ shipping to FLA?
btw, about those R1 Coilovers...worth the $120? im not looking for peformance, just a nice lowering coil thatll giv me the same, if not better, ride i have now w/ 17s on there

also, quote me on some 95 altezza's if u will. and do u have the blue dot conversions? iv seen them on jcwhitney and im gonna cover a portion of the white part of the altezza w/ a dot...if u dont have them dont worry about it

btw, how much do u think id get for a white 95 lx coupe w/ a combat kit, stock spoiler, altezzas, indiglo gauges/pedals/emblem, 20% tint, maybe a painted dash and custom leather interior, new paintjob? (86k mi) assuming i also get the bolt-ons I/E

I need a price list for a wing west body kit (RS the simple one) headers, cams, turbokit etc. etc., also the projector lights, gen.2, I like them. BUt yeah, just a price list if possible with shipping prices to Holland! I need to know where to start. Problem here is if I buy parts here I will pay 4x as much as if I get it from the US!

bullshit they are. If R1 was such a good company you would see them on actual race cars.
I would like to see your proof that all springs are basically the same. There is a reason why the saying that 'you get what you pay' exists and it's not JUST because you are paying for a name. There is a lot of R&D testing that goes into making car parts, and it's easy for some cheap shit company to come along and make a knock-off product that is no where near the quality level of the company that did the actual testing.
Oh yeah, and what type of springs are R1 anyway, linear or progressive rate?

also all those rice boy mods wont get you anymore money when you try to sell the car. even if you did try to sell it to another, younger, rice boy you might get only a couple hundred more only because he/she would be too stupid to know better.

Dayam, slow down there slugger! You need to ease off the Viagra, and give your heart a lil' rest. On a consumer market, where obviously the consumer is looking to spend low-end cash, example being under $450, then pretty much all the coilover set-ups are the same shit! The springs do the same thing, especially when you are not a fricken f1, or even going to be doing SERIOUS road racing anyway. In a case that you were, then you would prolly be looking to get the Tien and spend the upper-end bucks, example $1000 and up. How about this...I have the r1 kit on my car now....you can have whatever kit you want...choose your weapon, you are the badass here remember...and then I will see if I can glue my car to your ass to see which one handles better. I am sure that the springs won't mean a whole lot. It seems like you are the one with something to prove though, so why don't you prove how they are better. Then we will take a vote to see if anyone here really gives a fuck about what you think? As to your rice remark...catch me on the streets bitch, then we will see how fast rice can cook! By the way the R1 springs are Linear.

1. cool so R1 springs are linear rate which = shit
2. You can get Ground Control with custom rate springs and AGX shocks for around $600. i guarantee that set up will own your R1 set up.
3. I'm not challenging you to anything, i have nothing to prove i'm just telling you what a fucking idiot you are.
