6-speed V6 comes out in febuary '03. They are not waiting a whole year it's like when the Si first came out in '99. It came out after all the other Civics.

just got two coupes on the lot today; both 5spd manuals. they look SOOOO good in the metal, so to speak. accord y2g: you will love this car, fix the wreck, sell that bad boy and bring in the down payment. i'm gonna try and drive one tomorrow. i'll tell you all who that goes.

I'd rather have a 4 cyl over the 6. It isn't as good from the factory but after some work you can make it way better. Just think of all the things the are comming out for the RSX and then applying them to a 4cyl accord is nothing. So there will be a wealth of aftermarket parts for the 4 banger but don't hold you breath waiting for the 6. And that enginge been out longer.

:confused: dude the V6 in the accord hauls!, my freands dad just bought a new 03 sedan, there actually really nice up close, very pimp ride, and fast too. this thing hauls and its a fucking sedan! i cant imagnie a coupe with a six speed....damn. if honda made this accord RWD id Soooooo pimp it. fuck the four banger, id rather have a V6 and turbo charge it. theres a lot you can do with a V 6, a lot more than people think. look at the buick grand national, that thing is a fast car and still just a six. seriously, the four banger isnt even worth driving IMO :rolleyes:

That would be such a hard job to do, because the new Av6 has an integrated exhaust manifold...(for those who don't know, it means the exhaust manifold and the cylinder head is one big piece)...that would be one hell of an expensive turbo install :o i wonder if the gains would even be worth the price??

Yes we'll be getting that car here in the states, it will be badged as an acura the name will be the TSX. As for the car being as agressive as it is in Europe is another story...
