When exactly do you know when VTEC kicks in? or is it a constant thing? I am not sure, it says VTEC on my Valve Cover but I can not feel a difference.

Thanks Again for the help

I'm assuming you have an accord since you posted this in "accord".

on the accords, the vtec doesn't kick in as hard, I remember accordy2g's wasn't as noticable as a 99-00 si when it kicked it, but with the cold air intake on you heard it cross-over.

I have an AEM shorty, but I can't hear or feel at all. I will have to pay closer attention to see if I notice it.

Thanks Again

Being that my vtec controller does not actually control my vtec crossover point and only my air and fuel. My stock Vtec crossover point kicks in at 3200, well at least thats what my vto says on my controller. So by the way for anyone who has a f23a4 motor DO NOT get a vtec controller. It works like an SAFC because an accord incorporates a slightly different method of vtec. Unless your plannin to swap an h22. So your best bet is to get an SAFC for the sohc accords.

By the way if your car is tuned right to comply with all your mods. Your vtec actually kicks in more noticably. You can't hear it as loud as the b series motors would sound but you can slightly hear the motor engage in vtec and feel your motor pull harder.
