i think i'm running rich

hey, my 96 DX accord is wasting soo much gas... iono if it's the way i drive, or if i'm running rich... I got AEM intake on it... and i thought it would improve gas milage... also i got +4 bosch spark plugs (also hoping to get better mileage) but it seems that i'm getting bad mileage.. is there anyway to "home" test my car to see if i'm running rich or lean? or if there is something else with it... much appreciated.

I would say do some more tune up stuff, new spark plug wires, check the timing, change the oil, new distributor cap and rotor, that kinda stuff. then see if it's any better.

don't mean to burst your bubble, but the only way to really know is to hook it up to a emissions sniffer. i forget what they are actually called.
it's either do that or hook it up to a scanner and see if the engine is giving you a code...
either way, you'll need to see a pro. :)

for 50 bicks you can put in a air/fuel ratio guage. helped out a lot in my camaro when my o2 sensor went caput.
