I dont see why the hell the Accord Type R isnt offered here in the states, Its fat as hell, has some actual power (h22a) and looks nice. Has all the sporty interior as any type r should have. The damn Japs, and Europeans get to enjoy all the fun, while we get the plain looking sedan. Just needed to vent!! :mad:

Isnt is like 212hp or something like that?
I've only seen a few pics of it.....look pretty damn smooth! I take one, just like I'd take a Civic Type R, but they will never come here :(

Yeah i think its 205hp yeah theres an article in the new Turbo magazine. Its nice as hell, I'd get the Accord Type R over the Civic Type R, but that my opinion just cause its different.

yeah, the accord type r is only available in europe, that article said it's not for sale is japan either (I'm sure they can get it though). they said it's like $28,000 though, I'd get the new lancer for that much $$$

don't quote me but i heard somewhere that the civic and new RSX (aka integra) type R is on the way soon. but that could have been a cruel joke.

they won't be here for 2003. the RSX is getting a 'performance package' instead. there isn't much performance in it..

17" rims, full body kit, interior trim.
stiffer suspension (somewhere between type-s and type-r)
and slotted rotors.

no it wont, those damn japs always do that to us and since we are all about saying we have a "type R " or a "type S" they know we will pay for it!! :D
