right here baby  capable of up to 550whp, more power than stock starting just over 4000 rpm, pretty gangster! I would just add the 3mm head gasket to drop the compression down to 9.0:1 and add that extra margain of safety, lots of guys are running 500whp just by doing that to the motor, pretty cool.

Nice set-up but 6k is a bit much. I think you could piece something together that will perform just as good or better and save yourself about $1000.

hey it's only money, and we all have alot of catching up to do to get to where Gary is at. lol..17psi though on stock internals. I guess you'll have the crx as the dd eh?

Tell me about...Gary is going to be embarassing all of us in April...LoL
A lot of people with the thicker headgasket installed on AP2's run that kind of power or close to it with much success. Tuning is key :thumb:

exactly, tuning tuning tuning, enough guys are doing 500whp with the headgasket that I don't think it's an unrealistic goal. I aggree the kit is pricey, when I get serious I'll keep an eye out for used kits or see if piecing some things together myself makes it cheaper, we'll see. the kit is uber efficient which is the only semi-justification for the cost, this kit with 17 psi makes almost 100whp more than the inline-pro cast manifold kit at the same psi! pretty sick!
crx as a DD, not if I've got a 500whp S2000 to drive instead :D you know how I roll, I put all my eggs into one basket when it comes to cars :) most likely the CRX sill get sold to fund the S, as bitter sweet as that is :(

My turbo project has been an ongoing process for years, because of money and time. But now that its finally done it was worth the wait.
IMO depending on how much you want to spend, what you should do is part the kit out, you get to pick out exactly what parts you want to set up a killer kit.

Yea the manifold is the manifold, I don't think there are many people making ramhorns for the car but the rest I'm sure you could make/find cheaper. Like I'm sure they charge an arm and a leg for charge piping which you probably do yourself for less than half of what they charge.
But just buy parts from different places even the same parts in the kit, you might be able to catch a sale and save money that way.

to get their kit in pieces with everything short of the intercooler and piping and I'm already up to $5,000 :( the turbo and manifold are MAD LOOT! buy the time I add their parts and a different intercooler I'm only a little less than getting the kit whole and I have all that work to do :( to really save money I'd have to make the the manifold and downpipe but the manifold is the magic. we'll see when I really get ready to get the kit, maybe I'll find another option.

its is a kick ass setup for the S. everyone that picks one up priases it. the manifold is the key, so bad ass, so efficient. 550whp :) dayum!!!!!

550whp would be lots of fun in a 2800 pound car! :D lots of tire burnage

my tuner had his s2k 500whp+ on stock internals. He actually fabricated his own kit. A lot of damn potential out of those damn ricer engines!

the S2000 motor is pretty strong you don't need to really build it to hit pretty good power numbers :)

if you hit 500whp, you will be 100-150hp higher then me at the wheels ROFL. i will look like i am standing still!
