AWESOME !

Looks like our debate in the other thread helped :D Really glad you didn't go with the Rotrex or one of those other turbo's on a stick. I can't wait to see that thing in action !

yeah, bleh to boost by rpm :D he was saying the killer was that the rotrex was supposed to be "super efficient" compared to the other kits but when you took a regular Vortech kit and lowered the VTEC point you have almost an identical setup, where's the extra efficiency / power?

plus for normal daily driving (which is what you're doing 99% of the time anyway) having all the power down low is great and you wouldn't get all of that power down low with the other kits like you would with the blower. heck if I'm coming up to a light and I'm feeling lazy I'll pull away in 5th gear from 10mph no problem, the S will be able to do similar stuff with this kit.

besides if he really wants that boost by rpm feel we'll just put on a 25 shot that only kicks in during the last 1000 rpm :D

yeah, the def last nail in the rotrex was the comparo to a properly tuned vortech. there is a huge thread on s2ki debating the three centrifigal systems, and someone finnaly posted a dyno of a well setup and tuned vortech at 10psi vs rotrex. the voretch was within 10whp down low, once you hit about 5k, they were damn near identical. the whole point of why i liked it was that it had supposedly way more power down low. vortech stock bolt on kit has crappy black box and fmu. vtec stays at stock engagement. rotrex comes with total ecu reflash, low vtec to 4k.

oh well. eaton kit was best choice after all this. turbo was awesome and makes way more power, but i dont want 400+. this blower setup will be perfect for me.

fuel pump comes wiht kit, but aeromotive fpr and injectors should be here by friday. figure pop those in, and at least street tune the new injectors. def wish now i had listened to you and just bought the 650's before i tuned the car the first time hehe.

stay tuned for more updates!

Well i'm running 5psi right now but I was running 10psi. Hell in a couple weeks I will be heading to the dyno tuning for 15psi :D

Man I wonder what that thing would sound like with a pulley making 15psi...WWWWWWWWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
