i'll get some pics up soon but just wanted to set the tone. ive been doing what i consider the standard wash, claybar, wax of the car for couple years and always been happy with the results. a friend of mine came over and showed me the ways of the porter cable. whoa nelly, this thing opens all new doors for me.

last night around 8 pm candyman was making fun of me for not doing jack with the detail stuff yet to the S so we started the detail. its hot as hell in south florida lately, so cranked up the ac in the garage, put on some music and started. car had been washed a day ago, so went over everything with claybar, then did one pass of poorboys 2.5 with orange pad, then poorboys 1 with whitepad, then waxed the car. omg it took forever!!!! i am not the most patient guy, and 6 hours of detailing can get boring for me. but when it was done it looks awesome!!!! big thanks to rich for all the help!

i can see why you guys put so much effort into detailing your rides! all the surface scratches disappeared. cars finish looks like glass. unreal i tell ya, unreal!

That shit looks good.

The first time you do it after a long while it always takes a lot of time/work but if you keep up with it after, you won't have to go through all that work too often. I usually just have to go through that once a year and then just a regular wax about once every 2 months.
