early in november, i visited south california for the first time for my oldest cousins wedding. man was it beautiful out there. perfect weather day and night. i was in the moorpark, camarillo area.

well, as soon as i roll up to uncle mikes house, i see his whips in the garage. first, my eye catches a jet black 2007 335i <and yes this is my aunts car and its 6 speed>. then i glance to the left and yeah, uncle cant be outdown by the wife so hes rockin a black 2007 Z4 m edition. both whips are crazy nice.

but the best was yet to come for me. my father had spoke to uncle mike a few weeks before and let on that i was rockin a s2k. as soon as i say hi to my uncle, whom i havent seen since i was 4 and i am 28 now, says hey, i here you drive a s2k, which means you appreciate this kind of ride. how bout after the wedding stuff is done you and me carve up a few canyon roads on the way to the PCH.

now i get all giddy like a 5 year old, but figure the wedding is going to consume all the time, not too mention all the family i have to catch back up with. so i got into town wednesday night. wedding is saturday, and it was fantastic. outside wedding, weather was a crisp 65ish. not a damned could in the sky.

fast forward to sunday, were hanging at uncle mikes, and he walks over to me and says lets jam. we head out and he drives for about 20 minutes carving up some roads. then he pulls over, hops out and says, your turn :) the car feels so nice. motor is uber torquey and pulls from everywhere. teh car wails up top:) handles like a wet dream. the only thing i could every complain about is the tranny is but like my butta s2k. its notchyish, i begs to be shifted harder. at least that was my impression. hell i didnt care to much the car drove great.

the best was on the way home. i stop at a light, and behind me is a 335i revvin his motor. i quickly think to myself, would uncle mike mind if i launch on this fool? i didnt though, out of respect only.

all in all was a great time. the best was when we got back, his three daughters, my cousins, and his wife were all in awe that he let someone drive his baby. hell, my cousins new husband, and my other two cousins long time boyfriends havent even been asked if they want too.

respect my brohters, respect :)
