I'm lovin the new head unit, all the features are great and the sound is really nice. I was a little worried about the sound quality and system tuning options at first but after listening I'm happy. the tuning features could be better for sure, there needs to be a little more EQ options, either a variable EQ or more graphic EQ bands. I think it only has 7 bands, at least 12 would be nice, 31 would be ideal. the crossover works fine but it will only do 2-way built in and you only have 3 preset points to pick from. but it's been great so far and the couple of drawbacks haven't hurt me.

here's some picts, all I have left to do really is mount the amps in a way that makes sense without loosing a lot of space.

I just got my iPod adapter and put that in today :) it's so awesome to just have buttloads of music to pick from and not shuffle through CD's. now I'll burn some dvd's full of video files and copy them over to the radio's internal hard drive so I've got some cool videos to watch any time I want to :)

It looks good. I love the iPod Adaptor. It's so nice not having to haul around CD's not to mention the amount of CD's I would need to carry would be insane !

oh yeah, I almost have my 80 gig full! for the short time I had just a CD head unit I realized how bo bo that is compared to having an iPod connected. now I've got tons of options... regular radio, iPod, built in hard drive, DVD player :D if I really start to get bored I could get the XM tuner and have another source. if it was cheaper or if I did more driving I'd get it.

ha ha, you can't even talk slow poke! :D maybe if you weren't slow you could try and talk down on the rex ;) don't worry, in a few weeks you'll get a shot at the rex :)
