Seems like a pretty good deal. I've never owned kickers but I've never not liked any that I've heard in a system. I want to start with a nice little system in my truck and I figured this will definately give me enough bass inside the cab. Plus anytime I see a good deal on something it's hard for me to let it pass by. hehe

2 10" kicker comps should kick pretty good. Especially since they'll be RIGHT behind me.

Sorry brotha, been busy.

Anyways, if you're looking to get a little thump in the cabin then these will do you fine and then some. They can handle abuse, I have never popped one no matter what silly configuration I put them in or even doubling the RMS wattage. By no means though will a pair of these make your hair stand up (you need 4 of them for that ;) ) but they play lovely. Rap and electronic isn't their strong suit but they play everything else well. I really think if they gave the woofer a little more extension they would be perfect.

That's my take on them, used them many years (15 or so, hell still have the first set I've ever bought...LoL) and they never let me down.

cool deal. Yeah, i'm pretty sure there the basic kicker comp's with 300w RMS. I'm thinkin' that i'll be on the lookout for a kicker amp. I really liked the last one I bought with the seperate bass controller that I installed by my steering wheel. DO any other decent amps come with that feature to your knowledge? You have always intrigued me on JBL amps so i'll keep my eyes open.

Also if you come across anything that will push these 2 10's let me know.

Off the top of my head there aren't many but I think Rockford Punch amps come with a bass boost knob as well. I would go get a JBL amp. Great power great cost and they handle abuse just as good as any amp 3 times as much. I ran my old GTQ400 in 4 channel mode and pushed 8 drivers with it and it held on for 4 years. I am sure it would have went more but I was a very abusive father...LoL

I'm actually going to be picking a couple new ones up with a pair of their new subs. I just want everything to match and finish off the trunk in my car for once and for good...LoL
