What do you think of the Sony Xplode

What do yo guys think about the speakers in 12's. Are they any good for mild bass. I dont want any award winning system but just a mild sounding system.

My .02

I had a couple of Kicker Comp VR's for a while.. and they don't take much power to run, but they sure did sound good, and they would hit MOST, not all but most of the bass line notes (Sounded really good in mid to lower range lines). They just weren't loud enough for me, that's the only reason as to why i got ride of them. But other than that i would sat that they are the best "Bang For Your Buck" kinda deal. ;) :)

id go with Fosgate a 12" HE2.. nice hitting sub, nothing too extreme but gives out a nice sound to your system

our shop did a single 12" he2 in the trunk of an integra with a RF power 301s amp pushing it and it sounded nice

Friends of mine have had Rockford subs, and they usually listen to the REALLY f-ing loud, and after a while the voice coils started to squeak, didn't affect the sound or anything, but it was annoying as hell!!! but other than that, i really enjoy the sound of Rockford, not a fan, but like the sound. They seem to be alittle "over priced" if you ask me. (depending on the model that you buy) they don't take a ton of power, but other than that they would do the trick :)
