My buddy has a stage 1 cam in his SOHC Civic....made 13whp over stock with intake, header and exhaust.

The stage 2's require that you upgrade your valve train with springs and retainers.....With a set of cam gears and the right tuning you should make so pretty goo power with them... :D

thanks for the info jackson i too have a buddy with the stage one on his d16y8. personally i think it wasnt worth the money. it felt a bit better but not worth what he had spent on them.

there are 3 different stage 2 cams for the H22a turbo, street/strip, and vtec lobe. the turbo cams are obviosuly for turbo h22, street/strip requires springs and retainers, and vtec lobe with stock idle lobes for improved street performance (springs and retainers not needed for stock rev limit)

but my question remains, anyone have any info on h22's with these cams (na application)

found this on the h22 forum
" i dynoed mine. I have the crower stage 2's. made 186 to the wheels with the stock rev in place. The power curve hits a wall at 7600. mightsee 8-14 more hp if i could rev to 8200 or so. "
