A Flexpipe is the piece that your headers collect into. For example, from the block you have four pipes that come off, that go into either a two, or one pipe design. That second pipe is called the flexpipe. It has a flex piece attached to it to give the exhuast flexibility with movement.

No site for information on the hatch right now, but after it gets out of the shop from the Type-R Headlight conversion, and I take it to the Dyno to get it tuned, I will post up pics. It shouldn't be too long now@ They will also be part of TeamVRT at the VisionImports.com site. Keep a look out! :-)

Best way to learn what a flex-pipe is used for:
Run a car around a corner at 35 MPH without one!
Good luck finding all the peices of your exhaust!!

i was thinking about the test pipe for my lude. would anyone know if that would sound better with my tanabe Racing M. exhaust?

Well, the test-pipe connects WITH the Tanabe exhaust. It will make it sound louder, if you are running the stock cat now. Which I doubt you are. It is not going to change the tone much if your not, just get you less power than the straight pipe.

here in ny. we got emissions and inspections man. so YES i got my cat on my exhaust. which is loud enough. it wakes up ppl at nite. and jesus its a cop magnet. I been warned by a fatty cop, just awhile ago. I wasnt sure if i should get it b/c it might ruin the way my exhaust sounds. and i dont want it any louder then it is.
a buddy of mine has it on his SI, and for some reason he has be getting really bad gas mileage, maybe it could be the vtec controller or his fuel thing.
