Test Pipe.

HEy whats up everybody.

I was just wondering, does anyone in here have a TestPipe for there honda's or acura? My friend has it on his 00 SI. and from what he tells me. its got rid of his lag's due to the cat. Now he has no cat. he put the test pipe on. and he notices some gains. He tells me its between 8 to 10 hp. Its cost like around 45 for some cars. does anyone in here have it?

Of sourse if you get rid of the resticted OEM cat it is going to enhance your performance. I don;t know about 8 HP, unless you are talking form the header, intake, exhaust, and test pipe. Most people DO try and over inflate the HP gains, but you will get even more with NO cat at all. If you are in a place that still has emission restrictions than YES get a test-pipe, it will help performance while still being legal in some states. If you don'e have any emissions control, then like I said you are better off running a custom exhaust FlexPipe back. Good Luck!

remember on obd2 cia will come on, disconect mem to computer, u should do this on the ludes anyways, stops your car from detuning cuase of your mods,
