just did the coolant bypass. here in Miami there is absolutely no point for it since temp here almost never goes under 84degrees. i only bypassed the intake maifold not the IAC. in conjunction with the AEM cold air should be all that gets in now
free mod only took 5 minutes

nice, think it helped? hondata makes a different intake manifold gasket, it's supposed to keep the intake temps down too, don't know if they make one for the H-series though.

thanks for the info on the hondata gasket. there is a very good and informative article on it http://hondata.com/heatshield.html thats whats next on the to get list. its made for most honda motors.

in reguard to the car feeling a little different since the bypass it does feel a little different almost the way it drives on a nice cool night.

you bypass the coolant that flows into the intake manifold which in turn reduces the temp of the manifold and thus reduces the temp of the air that is flowing into the combustion chamber. this feature is there to help "warm up" the motor quicker in cooler climates.

how easy is it to bypass it?

I had to scrape some ice of my windows last weekend in germany. It was about 28 degrees F, -3C here. Now that sucks already for this time. Even ice on the roof of my car. First thing I did this morning I bought a thick car cover to preserve my rex against this winter. Gotta take care of my baby to the extreme!

No, I live alone in an appartment here with a parking spot infront of my door. Im searching to see if somebody has a small garage in this area to rent it. Kinda sucks though. :(

it really was very simple, i pulled the coolant hose off that went from the motor to the thottle body and looped it to plug into where the coolant hose that comes out of the throttle body is. all you need are needle nose pliers
