Why da heck did they discontinue the prelude. It was a fat ass car with good HP and looked sweet!! It was overpriced and if it was cheaper than the 24-26k price tag it would have sold many more of it!! DAMN HONDA !!

yeah, Honda sucks on that one, if it would have been priced close to the price of the integras, like a grand more, they would have sold a million of them. oh well, one less cool honda :(

yeah, and I think th biggest problem with the cars you mentioned was the price. I mean, if you didn't know about the potential in a supra and left it stock, you're paying 50+ grand for a high 13-sec car. not worth it when compared to a stock vette. but then there's the NSX which still is out there  and not very quick when compared to a viper that costs the same.

people who buy the nsx, don't buy it purely for performance reasons. otherwise, like you said, there are other routes to go. they buy the nsx because it's a new-school classic car. it's a collector's item. honda has not changed the body style significantly in 11 years. and with the exception of a few rare exotics, no one has matched the lines or styling of the nsx. that's what makes the nsx valuable. it's not just the performance; which by the way is impressive considering is coming from an n/a six.
