he he, yeah, tell your avitar to stop starring at me ;)

well, figure average 12,000 miles a year and a 95 (which new would have been bought in 94) would be 8 years old, so that's allready 96,000 average.

figure if the body is in good shape, then the motor can always get a rebuild or a least a thorough tune up. I can do the work myself, so the motor part wouldn't worry me that much, as long as the rest was fine.

Preludes are very reliable. My 92 Prelude has 166,000 miles on it and it runs great. I really want to swap the engine because it's SOHC and it's non-Vtec. If the lude that you're looking for is Vtec and/or DOHC, then it's perfect. Goodluck on your decision.

i think as long as you find one in good condition, and the important parts have been well taken care of as well as proper maintenance procedures have been accounted for(ie, timing belt, oil changes, other fluids, ) then, you should be ok. make sure there's no rust, or accidents, and again very importantly especially on a high mileage honda, the timing belt should be replaced. especially if it's close to 100,000 miles. otherwise , it should be a great car that will last you through 300,000 miles.im almost half way there on my '95 SE.that's all.

why won't my roommates ever answer the damn phone?!!

yes it does. I like different stuff how many si's do you see out there compared to hooked up preludes, that my opinion.

I have a '97 Prelude DOHC V-Tec I bought it with 63,000 miles on it and I have only had one minor problem with it, and that is leaking in the trunk b/c it has been wrecked before. But I highly recommend buying a Prelude, they are sweet cars and all Hondas are extremely reliable. I wouldn't give my Prelude up for anything else but another Prelude or an RSX! But if I had to recommend a certsin Prelude I would get the new body style b/c you are guaranteed to get DOHC V-Tec. And if you find a Prelude in the paper '97-2000 you need to look at it in person as soon as possible because everyone wants one and they go really fast!
