that's the nicest 4th gen I've seen in a while. I always liked the outside of the 4th gen's, but not the interior. 5th gen for me baby!

i really like the fourth gen, but i think if i could get some wheels/tires, coilover kit, and a '99 H22 motor in a first gen lude, i would be all over for me. i just think the body was so origanal, totaly RWD look. i get a little chub thinkin about it....... :)

yeah, I aggree, the honda brand needs something between the new Si and the S2000. I still think they would have sold a ton more preludes if they just weren't so overpriced when they were out.

i like 4th and 5th, but im gonna have to say the 4th gen 92-96 is the best, i didn't like the dash at first, but then it grew on me. plus the spot to the left of the gas gauge is perfect for putting a picture of a particular cute girl in.(senior pictures work perfect). plus they're lighter. that's all.

why won't my roommates ever answer the damn phone?!!

Fourth Gen is the best! The thing i hate about the 5th gens is the tacky raido that says gold lettering all over it. Its also a little heavier and both gens have the exact same potential. By the way, I just happen to own a 4th gen(no bias) haha.

H22 SiR swap, ACT clutch, AEM cold air, Apexi N1 exhaust, straight pipe. WW RS front lip, painted side skirts, custom taillights,VIS carbon fiber hood. Skunk2 coilovers, 17 inch Konig Traffiks in black Ultra light-wieight.

I also may be biased, but I think the 4th gen is by far the better choice. I chose it b/c:

-LOVE the dash; it's much better than the bland 5th gen's; girls always say it "wraps around like a spaceship!" hehe...and i can't stand the amber glo.

-The body lines are just plain bonerific! It's actually curvy! Honda degenerated the design on the 5th gen and made it back into a rolling-shoe box. It's just too boxy.

-The 5th gen headlights are....ugh. The 4th's looks mean and has a pissed off look to them. And the taillights are too plain, too, when compared to the 4th gen. The 4th's suit the curvey @$$ so well.....

-Performance; the 4th gen is the lighter and better performing car. Run a 5th gen VTEC against a 4th gen VTEC and the 4th gen will pull everytime. Plus for a more torquey motor for drags and turbo, the H23 is a godsend. And before I get flamed, I've ridden in all cars mentioned, and frankly I was VERY unimpressed by my friend's 5th gen 5-speed. For the money spent, he could of had a MUCH faster and better looking car.

But that's just MY opinion...of course 9/10 people are gonna favor their car over the others, but these are my reasons why I feel the 4th gen is the better car.

Who needs VTEC when you got torque?!

Well you have to remember tho, that Daniels parents paid for it, he just buys the mods. and they're wierd about buying used cars.

WHAT?! If anything, it's the 4th gen that looks more RWD. It is almost shaped like a supra...and the way it curves up at the @$$, and is kinda hunched up back there, while the 5th gen's a box, just like the earlier hondas

Who needs VTEC when you got torque?!

looks wise, ill go with the 5th gen... i love the body lines. someone once told me that it looked like the body of a sexy woman, all understated and sharp, with a tight ass. love it.
but it has to be done right... no cheesy body kits or 18 foot tall drag wings...

the 97+ pulls, its just so damn heavy. being the the 4th gen is so much lighter, thats one up it has.

amateurs dont use nitrous oxide, ive seen the way you drive

Yeah if the Lude hadnt been so over-priced they wouldnt of discontinued them. There have been talks of bringing some sort of replacment back, but for the most part it looks like they are just going to make a mix between a Lude and Accord with a H22 AKA Type R Acc. As for the post itself, well I started liking the Lude when I saw the 4th gen, but the 5th is just much more agressive and of course faster. The 4th has better handling, but over-all I will take the 5th and cheat on it with the 4th..LOL

Im currently in Kuwait so feel free to post some nudies..LOL

CaliLude

Oh yeah, as far the the things I like and why...

1. The 5th gen tails are tight and stealthy looking.
2. 4th gen dash is off the hook with its "Wrap Around" Design. 5th is sorta similar, but not quite there.
3. Head lights are a toss up, but I would have to go with the 4th because of the agressivness. 5th are ok, but not as agressive.
4. Body Style is also a toss up (For me) because of the vastly different looks. The 4th has smooth and sleek lines while the 5th is more "Primitave" with its bold and straight edges.
5. 5th has a better engine
6. 4th is lighter

There are plenty of other yea's and Nay's but **** it, I like em both!

Im currently in Kuwait so feel free to post some nudies..LOL

Well personally I like the 5th gen styling the most but, according to sales people seemed to like the 88-91 styling the most since it sold. Sales started dropping when honda came out with this fugly bubble prelude in 92! Its dash is wtf the rear end is the most fugly thing its just like 'there' it seems like a rear my 8 yo cousin would design!! And the body lines look to much like an accord just a shorter roofline!! Ever wondered why the 97-01 resembles the 88-91's? because honda relized that was the best base design.
