Arite, I have a 2000 civic si with out an engine right now. Im just about to order the H22A out of the US 99-01 Preludes.

200 hp @ 7000
156 torque @ 5250
Compression 10.0:1

Once I get it, I wana put the best turbo on it so i can get to preform well in quarter mile. Some day i would like to break into 10's in the 1/4 mile but i would be ok with low 12's. I have two questions, whats that bigest turbo that could work with that engine. Also what would be the best turbo that would work with that engine.
Any of you guys know what turbo i should get? Thanks.

run a t4 turbo, greddy type 24 i/c, hks wastegate, hks blowoff valve, hi-flow injectors from r/c engineering, 255lph walbro, dyno time, hondata, JE turbo pistons, eagle rods, clutchmasters stage 3 or 4 and others.... but you wont break into the tens easy.

well if i was you...i would forget the turbo if you are gunna go H22A in a civic. cause now youre gunna have to spend a grip of money fixing the handling since the H22A is such a heavy engine. Your handling and alignment will be totally thrown off...be ready to spend some dough

Yes, Weight can be used as an advantage for traction. After all it is a fwd car. Just 1/4 mile speed is all im after.

my crx is about as front heavy as you can get and it handles great, so I wouldn't worry about the extra weight from the H22A making the car handle bad.

as for what turbo, it really depends, the turbo that'll make the most power would be something like a T60. but on a stock motor with a stock head, it's gonna be crappy, you'll barely get it spinnin'.

but with the stock motor, a T3/T4 would work great and be good for about 15psi or so.

I considered on changing the pistons for lower compression and along with the cams, headers, and crank shaft. I havent tought about changing the engine head, what would be a good engine head to go with?

I found this t3/t4 on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1870109680

honda cranks are virtually bulletproof as far as your application goes. but you wont be needing a header because you are turbocharging your car. therefore, you will need a turbo manifold ;). ask candyman he'll tell you about the different types. cast iron, equal length etc etc. hope that helps a little.
