It seems my car is idling a little rough, but that makes sense since according to my (super accurate no doubt) stock tach, i'm idling at like 200-300rpms?! Anybody know where the idle adjustment is??? ignore my ignorance... sorry, i'm pretty new to the import scene...

first thing I would do is check the timing. if that's all fine and where it should be, then I'd raise the idle a little. there's a screw in the throttle body, should be the only flathead screw in the throttle body. just start the car and let it warm up and start to idle low, then turn the screw one way or the other till the idle raises and smoothes out.
could mean it's time for a tune-up too. oil change, spark plugs, little stuff like that.

I would check out the Timing, and do the tune-up things FIRST! If the car is not running smoothly, and the idle is abnormal, it rarely means the idle has moved at all. Adjusting the idle screw is just a "band-aid" fix to what may really be wrong. It is always best not to screw with the idle. Also, if you don't know where the idle screw is, it is problably best you do not mess with it when you do find it. Take it somewhere to have it checked out, and have it properly adjusted.

totally agree! Change your plugs and wires distributor cap, and all those nice things, cause i know after i did the simple tune-up stuff, my idling problems went away.

2-300rpm's at idile? damn thats weak, my car idiles at 750:) it used to idile really rough when i first got it. i found that by doing a really good tune up it fixed a lot of the rough idile, but it still shook and shimmied at stoplights. but by puting premium gas in the tank it totaly fixed the idile problems, now its 750, all the time :D it doesnt jump anymore. so your problem might just be as simple as that, try puting better gas in it first, and then if that does nothing then do a tune up like thease guys are telling you. good luck man;) keep us posted
