94 Accord

Any suggestions for performance mods to a 94 accord LX sedan automatic (yeah, I know, autos blow, but since my parents were paying I didn't exactly have the luxury to demand an auto)? I'm not trying to get a 12 second car here, I am just sick of the family car throttle response. I know I need a cold air intake, after all, the accord has the stupidest intake ive ever witnessed (if you've seen it, you know what i mean). Has anyone had expierence with K&N's cold air intake (I believe its called the Typhoon)? Can anyone suggest some ghetto-rigged mods? I know there are tons for the f-bodies, but i can't find any for my ULTRA POWERFUL TORQUE MONSTER Accord.

don't get the k and N intake...get AEM..proven hp, but DO get a k an n filter

yeah...the AEM intake comes with a K&N filter...so no need to purchase a new one as well...and as for throttle response...just getting the airflow going is a good idea...i have a 94 lx as well...though mine is a 5 sp....and i have the basic bolt ons as of now due to the fact that a turbo setup is on its way (most parts already bought)...good luck!

and oh...as far as ghetto rigging...if you want the sound and a little extra power, take out the resonator box in the intake located directly below the filter...you have to remove some plastic on the bottom and unbolt it from the bottom...it's somewhat of a bitch to get to but well worth it...you have to do this anyways once you purchase a CAI...good luck!

I'd get a nice CAI, greddy cat back would add a little more power, and look/sound sweet. get a little 50 shot in there and you'll start to move :D
