I am lookin for a cold air intake i have only found one for the Si and the Ex but the problem for me is that i have a Dx is there any way to modify the one for the Si to fit mind.

i'm pretty sure all civic engines are based on the same design. i have a civic d series intake on my b20

speedpeople.com has them for a DX , you need to call them to make sure though , there # is 1-800-273-6915.
if you dont mind , ask for Erica , she will help you out , and if you happen to buy from them i want her to make the commission on the sale and not someone else.........later.

He's right , you should not have a hard time finding that intake , just dont buy junk.
even that # i gave you sells the cheapy ones , spring the extra cash wherever you buy from.

most of them will serve there purpose , its just a sealed tube , but some fit better than others , its the filter you want to look out for .
dont buy the cheap ass generic cones from like auto zone , ect.
if you want a medium priced kit try AEM ,
i have a Akimoto Racing Intake on my car and its been great !
i hope this little info helps you out , im still a rookie in this import game but i do my homework.

I have a question for everyone. What is the companies that yall trust most in. And what other performance would you think best for my car (89 Honda Civic DX) Thanx

the obvious names come to mind in regards to intake : AEM, ICeman,and Akimoto. As for filters i would go with a K&N filter.

YOURS IS A 95? THAT FOR A COLDAIR INTAKE AEM LIST ON IT IS 260. 230 THE BEST I CAN DO ON THAT PIECE.
I CAN GET YOUE SHORT RAM INTAKES FOR ANYWHERE BETWEEN 100-160 DEPENDING ON WHICH ONE YOU WANT
AND ITS FREE SHIPPING SO LET ME KNOW.

if you want the brand name "AEM" you'll gonna pay a little more. if you want a different brand, it might be cheaper.

Don't get ripped off man I just saw AEM intakes at TribalPacific.com for $174.11 for the Civic EX and DX and they come in Red, Silver, or Blue

Man there are lots and lots and lots of intakes for your car prob. one per dealer. just go to NOPI.com and they will have plenty

wow you people with same avitar.. yeah that's confusing.. :) for my celica i didn't want to pay the 200+ for the aem intake, so i just bought a cheap one off ebay... like 60 bux.. threw on the k&n filter from my old short ram, and went on.. it works well, hella loud.. sounds like a dragon breathing :) anyways, good luck. and try ebay too. :)
