the B16a honda motor that you guys are always refering to is a motor built for the Japense Domestic Market right?....whoa, thats fucking scary, i shouldnt know that should i? huh, well whatever thats kinda cool, so are engiens built for the JDM harder to find in this country because of our stupid tree huger emsions laws or are they just more expensive to export? or did i completly fuck all of this up? if im wrong let me know(nicely), im always interested in learning more about cars...even imports

b16a are also USDM. the USDM has 160 hp and 111 lb ft. the JDM b16a has 170 hp and im not sure how many lb ft but its around 115. JDM has higher compression ratio then USDM (hence more power).

we've had the B16A motor since the older del sol's, then they put them in the 99-00 Si's.

Honda is gay, the don't market the cars to the us as sporty cars, so they give us these crap motors, you'd think they'd get the hint when the 99-00 Si's didn't last on the lots for more than a couple month. you'd think after that they would bring over the good stuff.
