Z10 Block Girdle... a must for turbo build-ups.

for building a bulletproof motor takes a lot fo money along with tuning. Depending on the bbost your running you'll need:
Forged Rods... eagle and Crower are some of the most popular brands.
Forged Pistons... JE, SRp, and Arias are some of the common brands
Pistons Rings.. Many people use Total Seal rings but i hear stock rings work just as same.
block guard... Many brand for this, they all are basically the same.
And as Chris said the Z10 block girdle (plug) ;)
Any other things i may have missed feel free to add to.

i would run easily 15psi on that setup. I would run that boost all the time, just in case you get those dumbestics that think they are the S##t you can have it already set at your high boost and play with them, unless you wanna get a electronic boost controller than you can run 15 psi on the street and go with 20psi with some race fuel on the track!!

i've been thinking about doing this as well. i want to drop a b18c1 into a CRX, or mabey a 97-99 hatch and turbo it.
is there anything else i would need when building it up besides rods/pistons/rings and block guard/girdle? 15psi would be fine on that? :)
what size turbo would you recommend for this engine? i think i'd prefer a smaller one that spools faster, even if it doesn't boost as high. i think 15psi would be plenty for myself.

for 15psi you will need to address your fuel system. get bigger injectors and fuel pump and ignition.

YEA DONT FORGET THE FUEL, IF U GO HIGHER THAN 15 POUNDS YOULL DEFINITELY WANNA SLEEVE THE MOTOR ESPECIALLY IF YOUR GONNA BE DRIVIN IT EVERY DAY. A GOOD TURBO WOULD BE A T3\T4 WITH 60-1 WHEELS. ITS A LIL EXPENSIVE (1000 BUCKS) BUT THE PERFORMANCE IS UNBEATABLE AND IF YOU EVER WANNA MAKE MORE POWER THE TURBO WILL SUPPORT ABOUT 500 TO THE WHEELS(IVE SEEN 450 WITH THE SAME TURBO) AND YOU'LL HAVE VERY MINMAL LAG. IF YOU LIKE, E-MAIL ME: SPTECHNOLOGIESRACING@YAHOO.COM AND I CAN GIVE YOU PRICES ON EVERYTHING YOU LIKE. HOPE YOUR BUILD GOES WELL GOOD LUCK. LATER
