I have a 97 Civic Coupe DX and I want to install DC headers and a Greddy Evo catback exhaust system. There is one problem DC doesn't make headers for my car because the stock catalytic converter and heders are connected. I think I have found a solution . What I was thinking is that I could buy the DC headers for a 97 Civic Coupe EX and then buy a high flow catalytic converter also for the EX and then buy the Greddy exhaust(also EX) I think this will work because i know the exhaust hangers are the same on both the EX and the DX and if I bought all EX components the connectors would be compatible. What I want to ask you guys is whether the EX headers will bolt on to the DX engine block and if they do whether there is enough room in the engine bay for the ex headers.
Thanks for any replies.

isn't the DX a d-series engine where-asa the EX is a b-series engine. just a thought
