Engine mods from other cars onto 96 Accord Lx

im on a college budget, so i dont have much money. i got to thinking and was wondering if i could beef up my car with parts from other cars. i dont have enough for an engine swap or i would do it. i mena more along the lines of swapping heads or ECU's or throttle bodies. any suggestions?

i have seen cams for your motor for 150 but you have to give them your stock cam. obviously intake for some HP. Everything else runs in the hundreds of dollars. If you want you could save up a bit and get nos for 500 or get a used kit for like 300-350. good luck in whatever you decide to do.

the only head swap you could do would be if you could get the newer version of your motor that has vtec and swap it on. don't know if that would work or not, but that's the only option for a head swap.

hey i know you said your thinking about more along the lines of a NA set-up but you could always use a Mitsubishi turbo from an eclipse, talon or laser. i would try to get the newest one like the 99. good luck.
