My plans is to be running a nice size turbo. Please give me some ideas on this setup like pistons, crank, size turbo, and bottom end. What is the most power you guys have seen this motor put out?

not to be an ass...but why dont you get a swap??
cause half the money it would cost to build a SOHC could be used to bulid a DOHC and be twice as fast...

I would go with eagle or crower rods low compression pistons at least 9.0:1 or 8.5:1 get a block guard. Then get a T3/T4 turbo with a small housing for qukcer spool up and you'll be good to go. I've seen these motors put out 260hp to the wheels, I dont know if thats with head work or not, but 260hp is very impressive nvertheless..
P.S. Make sure you have the proper fuel for it.

Well im getting a 93 EX vtec motor from a friend at a real good price. I want to build it up as much as i can before dropping it in a hatchback. Here are the things i was thinking of doing to the motor.
bore it to 1.8
resleeve it
eagle rods
SRP Pistons 9.0:1 like accordy2g said
crower stage 2 cam
crower valve springs and titanium retainers
crower valves
arp head studs
T4 turbo What turbo do you guys recommend
Let me know of anything else i may need thanks

boring it to 1.8L will leave you with pretty slim cylinder walls, not too good since you're planning on boost. but I guess if it's gonna get sleeved than that makes up for it.
I would still lean towards getting a B-series motor swap, but you can definately make the SOHC plenty fast if the motor is built and you give it plenty of boost.
