I had my exedy and it worked fine for 80 miles then it f-ed up. I took it to the dealer and they replaced it with a stock clutch :( And told me the exedy PP was defective. My first OEM PP I cracked into 4 pieces. I couldn't drive then though and it was totally my fault. I tried to pimp to much.

I just got a Clutch Specialties 6 puck, and its great. I drove my friends ACT 6 puck and it was stiff as hell. The clutch specialties grabs super hard, and its very close to the stock feel!!!

I think that everyone needs to post the prices that they paid for their clutches, and did you upgrade the flywheel at the same time?

99% sure my price on the CM stage III was $350. I didn't get a flywheel, just got it resurfaced for $40. if flywheels weren't so much $$$ I would have gotten one.

ACT stage III-4-puck clutch-around $325
Since your opening up your transmission might as well upgrade, I have a TODA chrmoly flywheel, ITR LSD, and ITR gear ratios 1-4, 5th gear GS-R.
You will save a lot of time and money if you upgrade now, cause youll have to opening and closing your tanny...ya know, good luck :D

i heard from a friend at school that using a 4 puck messes up your flywheels and eats away at it, is this true?

my stage IV ACT clutch destroyed my flywheel after 10,000 miles. my CM stage III has been perfect for about 10,000 miles now and grabs as hard or harder with less pedal pressure. I'm sure an aftermarket flywheel with a harder mating surface the stage IV would last longer, but not on the stock flywheel.

I am using a clutch masters stage 4 and a 7.5ib fidanza flywheel. I love it, the pedal feels the same as stock, and hits hard (really hard )

WELL IT DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH POWER YOU'RE MAKIN. IF YOU ONLY HAVE BASIC BOLT-ONS AND A LIL BIT OF BOOST OR NOS U COULD GO WITH AN ACT HD SETUP(FULL-FACED DISK AND HD PP WITH GREAT PEDAL FEEL AND HOLDS ABOUT 40-50% OVER STOCK) WHICH HAS GREAT MILEAGE, OR YOU CAN GO WITH A 6-PUCK WITH A HD PP AND IT HOLD A LIL MORE POWER. I BECAME AN AVID ACT FAN AFTER I BROKE MY CM DISC IN MY COROLLA (AE86 W\ ABOUT 480HP) I SWITCHED TO AN ACT FULL RACE SETUP AND NEVER WORRIED AGAIN!!

I got the Exedy Organic Racing Clutch with thier light flywheel. I paid $640 for this package and had it installed for $400. I've had it for 8000 miles and haven't given me the least amount of trouble. And I can even still chirp 3rd! HEHE.

the next clutch I'll get is the CM multi-disc setup. 300%-600% more holding power with only a little more pedal pressure than stock (thanks to the extra discs :) )
little pricey at $1,400 msrp though, but I'll get it for less through my side business ;)
